Trauma & PTSD
Whether you’re dealing with a single traumatic event or years of accumulated stress, therapy can help you process what happened, understand how it continues to affect you, and regain a greater sense of safety and control.
Evidence-based telehealth for adults
Therapy for high functioning adults navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, burnout, and major life transitions.
When pushing through stops working
You may be handling work, relationships, and responsibilities while feeling anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck underneath it all. Perhaps you’ve spent so long pushing through that you’re no longer sure what feeling “okay” is supposed to look like.
Therapy can help you understand the patterns behind what you’re experiencing, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I’ll help you build practical skills that not only reduce symptoms, but also support meaningful, lasting change.
About me
I work especially well with thoughtful, high functioning people who are used to handling a lot, often so well that others may not realize how much they’re carrying. My role is to give you space to be honest, understand what is driving the problem, and make changes that carry into your daily life.
For the past several years, I’ve worked in private practice with high-achieving and high-performing adults, including service members, veterans, military spouses and families, and special operations personnel. Before moving into private practice, I worked in an inpatient military resiliency program, where I gained additional experience helping service members work through trauma, stress, and the demands of military life.
As a current military spouse, I also understand military culture and the strain it can place on individuals and families. That experience is one part of my work, not a requirement for working with me. My practice welcomes adults from many backgrounds.
How I can help
Whether you’re dealing with a single traumatic event or years of accumulated stress, therapy can help you process what happened, understand how it continues to affect you, and regain a greater sense of safety and control.
If your mind rarely slows down, you feel constantly “on,” or worry has become part of your daily routine, we’ll identify the patterns driving that anxiety and develop practical strategies to help you feel more grounded and in control.
I have extensive experience working with military-affiliated clients, including special operations personnel and others in demanding professions. I understand the pressures that can come with service, leadership, frequent transitions, and repeated exposure to high-stress environments.
You may be navigating a career change, relationship challenges, grief, burnout, or uncertainty about what comes next. Therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My approach
We won’t just talk about what’s wrong. We’ll work to understand what’s keeping you stuck, process difficult experiences, and build skills that create meaningful change in your daily life.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), adapting our work to your individual needs and goals.
What these approaches mean
You do not need to know which approach you need. We’ll decide what makes sense based on your goals and what is actually helpful to you.
EMDR helps your brain process distressing memories so they feel less immediate and have less control over your reactions today.
CBT helps you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and actions affect one another, then practice patterns that work better for you.
DBT offers practical skills for managing strong emotions, getting through difficult moments, communicating clearly, and setting boundaries.
CPT is a trauma treatment that helps you identify and work through beliefs that may have kept you feeling stuck after a traumatic experience.

All sessions are provided through secure telehealth. You must be physically located in Florida at the time of your appointment.
Yes. A brief consultation gives us a chance to discuss what you’re looking for, answer initial questions, and determine whether we may be a good fit.
We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you would like to change, and relevant history. You don’t need to share everything at once or arrive knowing exactly what you need.
That depends on your goals, needs, and the concerns we’re addressing. We’ll check in about your progress and make decisions about treatment together.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling. Appointments cancelled with less notice are charged the full session rate.
